Sizing Chart

Number of Eyelets    Lace Length

3 Eyelets                   30 Inches

4 Eyelets                   36 Inches

5-6 Eyelets                45 Inches

6-7 Eyelets               54 Inches

7-8 Eyelets                63 Inches

8-9 Eyelets                 72 Inches

*Sizing varies from shoe to shoe. Please use this chart as a rough estimate. For best results, please measure the length of your original laces. If you are between two sizes using our chart, we recommend choosing the shorter length for most applications.

Please note that our laces can sometimes have a 1″-2″ variance in length due to the slight elastic properties in the materials used. This is more commonly seen in longer lace lengths (54″+) but may also be present in other lengths.

What is 2-Thin?

Updated a year ago

2-Thin is perfect when you need to thin out our Angelus Leather Acrylic Paint. It keeps your shoe paint from getting a rubberized feeling on a mesh surface, and it’s great for thinning the paint for airbrush use on your customizations. For airbrush applications, we suggest using a 1 part 2-thin to 4 parts paint ratio (1:4).

Our Reusable Paint Strainers work great to remove all imperfections in the paint.

What is Duller for?

Updated a year ago

Angelus Duller is mixed with Angelus Paint in order to reduce the amount of shine in the paint. Perfect item if you want the “Matte” or “Flat” look. We recommend mixing no more than 5-8% duller into your paint solution.

Be careful as if you mix too much duller it was cause the paint to not perform and have issues. Always be cautious with mixing less and adding a little more if you need it do be more dull.

You can also use our Flat or Matte Angelus 4-Coat to get a dull sheen with a finish at the end of your project.

Quick Guide for Paint Additives

Quick Guide for Paint Additives

Updated a year ago

Here is a quick cheat sheet for all the Angelus Paint Additives:

Duller – Is for dulling the paint to make it appear more flat or matte

2-Thin – For thinning the paints if you need them thinner for an airbrush or another thinned-out application.

2-Hard – For hardening the paint for projects that do not bend or flex. Usually, we suggest this for non-moving parts like glass or plastics. This changes the flexibility of our paint to make it more ridged and scuff protectant.

2-Soft – For making the paint more launderable and soft. This is great if you are doing sock liners, laces, or any other canvas, denim, or porous materials. Make sure to heat set with a heat gun to make the paint not stay liquid.

2-Thick – For thickening the paint to get texture and explore new possibilities!
